Vietnamese Font Project
My greatest type obsession has always been handmade fonts. Hand-carved, handwritten, anything that carries the weight of a human touch behind it. Serifs and geometric typefaces have their place, but there's a soul to lettering made by hand that clean and structured fonts rarely replicate. That obsession led to a question: why don't my favorite handmade fonts support Vietnamese characters? Vietnamese typography requires an extensive set of tonal diacritics, and most expressive, hand-drawn typefaces simply don't include them. I have no prior font design experience, but I didn't think that was a good enough reason not to try. This is an ongoing personal project. Here is a series of Vietnamese handdrawn fonts designed from scratch. Click font name to download :)
*Note: I did not use FontLab for these because $$$ but will finetune these one day lol
